Introduction

ISSB Ready ("we", "our", or "the app") is an educational mobile application designed to help users prepare for the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) examination. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with ISSB or the Pakistan Armed Forces.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our app and how it is used.

Information We Collect

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal contact information
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, files, or location
• We do not store any data on external servers — all your progress and preferences are stored locally on your device

Information Collected Automatically

Advertising Data (via Google AdMob)

Our app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect the following:

• Advertising ID — a resettable, anonymous identifier provided by your device's operating system
• Device information — device model, operating system version, screen size, language settings
• IP address — used to estimate general geographic location (country/region level) for ad relevance
• Ad interaction data — whether an ad was viewed, clicked, or dismissed

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID

Locally Stored Data

The app stores the following data only on your device using local storage (Android DataStore and an on-device SQLite database):

• ISSB exam date (if you set one)
• Daily streak count and activity calendar
• Quiz questions, scores, and progress
• Practice session history (WAT, SCT, SRT, TAT, etc.)
• Achievements
• Language preference (English/Urdu)
• Notification preference
• Ad-gate state (free session/attempt counters, reset daily)

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

How We Use Information

• Local data is used solely to track your preparation progress and personalize your experience within the app
• Advertising data is collected by Google AdMob to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties beyond what is automatically collected by the AdMob SDK as described above.
